On the day Twice died, the story of the handkerchief came full circle when one of Twice's clones saved Himiko and then used the handkerchief to lovingly clean a cut off Himiko's face before melting away. His mask had been torn in this particular instance and Himiko used her handkerchief to help him fix it. Up until then, the two had already shared a touching moment when Himiko helped stave off one of Twice's psychotic episodes that derived from his irrational fear that he would lose his mind without his mask. This tragic turn of events was exacerbated further by how Himiko learned of her friend's passing. So, when the number-two hero Hawks infiltrated the league as a spy, Twice wanted to believe him and did, but was killed as a result. Twice cared deeply about the friends he made after joining the League of Villains, especially considering his dark origin story that shares many similarities with Joker. The tragedy of how Twice died only makes the fact that Himiko just obtained his blood even more emotional. That's because he and Himiko were quirk close, a closeness that only deepened when his clone died in her arms. Like Dabi and Spinner, she idolizes Stain and his ways of life and decided to join the League, which was believed to harbor the Hero Killer. She is a suspect on the run for serial murders involving blood drainage. She is affiliated with the League of Villains, and a member of the organization's Vanguard Action Squad. Himiko won't get this reaction from Twice after consuming his blood for obvious reasons, but more importantly, he would have been honored if this happened when he was still alive. Himiko Toga is a major antagonist in the manga/anime series My Hero Academia. Ochako obviously did not condone her powers being used to hurt others and made sure she expressed her disgust, a reaction that deeply hurt Himiko in the process. But when the villain confessed this to Ochako, the hero reacted vehemently. Himiko first achieved this ability after sucking the blood of hero Ochako Uraraka, leveraging Ochako's Zero Gravity quirk during the Paranormal Liberation War. It was a pivotal moment when readers (and Himiko herself) first learned that Himiko could also gain control of a person's quirk so long as she deeply cared for the user whose blood she originally sucked to assume their form and voice. As someone who has shut her feelings down before, she feels a connection to Uraraka, a young girl hiding her love for protagonist Izuku Midoriya. Knowing that her actions are driven not by anger or resentment, but from a place of admiration, makes Toga a much more sympathetic character. This causes Uraraka to explode, noting that she would never harm someone else in that way, regardless of her emotions. Eventually, she utilized Uraraka's quirk to take her anger out on someone who criticized her. Toga, rather than take this as a lesson of self-control, translated this into those around her trying to hold her back. As a child, she was told to suppress the feelings that led to taking other's blood (rightfully so). However, it is the backlash from society that drove her to violence. This overwhelming feeling fuels her uncontrollable bloodlust. Once she realized she could use her power to transform into the people she cared for the most, she grew to like the quirk. She is truly motivated by her love for others, not hatred, when using her quirk. ![]() In familiar manga fashion, the fight is accompanied by a monologue from Toga as she explains her reasoning for transforming into other people and using their quirks luckily, it's not nearly as evil as one would think. Though not the first time the two have fought, their strength has improved immensely. It continues a battle between Himiko Toga and hero Ochaco Uraraka as seen in chapter 288. With a psychotic nature intensified by her obsession with love, Himiko is an unpredictable (yet somehow endearing) persona reminiscent of DC's femme fatale Harley Quinn.
